Hello, my friends!
On Sept 21, I will be heading out Tijuana, Mexico to attend a photo-storytelling discipleship school with YWAM!
It’s a 5 month long missions school through Youth With A Mission, dedicated to seeking God and equipping students to use their creative gifts to advocate on behalf of others.
We will be spending the first 3 months in a lecture phase at the YWAM base in Tijuana: diving into the Word and getting to know God more deeply, as well as spending time developing our creative gifts of photography and writing. We will also be working alongside local ministries in Tijuana: building houses and teaching children photography, among other things.
After that, our team will be heading out for 2 months of outreach, where we will be using our creative gifts to serve the people and ministries we come in contact with in other countries. Currently, our outreach location is unknown, but last year, the team went to two locations in Europe and worked primarily with Syrian refugees and gypsies, using photography to tell their stories, and providing families with family portraits via a portable printer they brought with them.
I’m excited for this new adventure, and for all of the things God is planning on doing in and through me over the next few months!
Let me know if you’d like to know more about what I’ll be doing in for the next few months! I’d love to sit down and tell you more about it, or send you a letter with more details!
